The Brief

Design a poster and accompanying booklet for the Royal Irish Academy of Music’s production of Mozart’s “La Finta Giardiniera”

This project asked for a poster and booklet design for the Royal Irish Academy of Music’s production of Mozart’s “La Finta Giardiniera”.

My idea centres on a maze theme as a symbol of a garden and of confusion. At the centre of the maze sits the opera title however placed throughout the maze are several heart shapes each one representing a character. Three sets are placed close together yet still separated to represent the three couples while one stands alone to represent the character who remains alone.
